Welcome back to the ninth in a series of twelve Annapolis Experience Christmas In Annapolis Maryland 2012 blog posts featuring decorated residences or buildings that I happened across during my walks in the city this holiday season.

Today we are visiting the historic, circa 1774, Hammond-Harwood House on Maryland Avenue in Annapolis.

While volumes have been written about this grand and well preserved example of colonial Annapolis architecture today I would like to share a picture that I took of a decorated door on its north extension. The twin paneled doors have fresh cut wreaths with ribbons tied into bows on them and are seen flanked by two colonial era flags.

I hope that you have enjoyed this latest blog post in my series on the Christmas Decorations of Annapolis Maryland 2012.
