Front porches serve as the consummate outdoor gathering spot, a place to sit back and relax in a comfortable chair whiling away the morning, afternoon or evening as one chooses. Yes there is that first cup of coffee of the day to be savored or perhaps enjoying lunch shaded from the noon day sun. Then in the evening it is simply a great venue to unwind and decompress after a busy day. So along with residential gardens porches are truly one of the more pleasant features of outdoor living.

This front porch is located at the Berman House, circa 1892, where these three rocking chairs await guests of the inn to take their seats and enjoy the ambiance afforded them here in this tranquil Annapolis neighborhood setting.

Have a great day everyone,

Glenn

Noticed your blog re: front porch of the Berman House @ 114 Prince George St. in Annapolis. I am the oldest remaining in the original Berman family. Also the lone Berman who lived in this wonderful home, having been raised from birth until age 24 at this “Hell Point” address. The first year of my marriage was spent with my wife Rosalie in the Berman House. Great picture! Nice story.
