Today’s gloomy skies and intermittent periods of rain not withstanding I had hoped to come across a few interesting displays of Annapolis Easter decor to feature on this Good Friday blog post. In lieu of finding such I did see this 1902 Vernacular Federal style residence with a lavender colored door as well as deep gashes of blistering pinkish colored paint on its siding.

Narrow in width with less then 900 sq ft of interior space on both levels this row house is an example of a typical City rental property of the era. On the first floor a kitchen is located immediately to the left of the front door, there is a small living area behind it with practical built ins that take advantage of the limited space available while the residence has only one bathroom that is found on the second floor.

Perhaps my quest for residential Easter decorations will turn out for the better tomorrow, hopefully with a bit of sunshine as well.

Have a good afternoon everyone,

Glenn
