One of the comments that I often hear from visitors to our City throughout the year is how much they enjoy visiting Annapolis during Christmas time. Usually they say the attraction is made up of first the holiday ambiance that one can experience along the waterfront where boats are seen decorated with lights and wreaths – although less so this year due to the construction activities on Ego Alley. In addition to the waterfront setting holiday visitors are attracted to downtown Annapolis by its unique selection of merchants, historic sites as well as the opportunity to walk among old period houses in the Historic District.

Earlier in the day I found the sight of the above featured wreaths, adorning the windows on the east side of the Government House, to be a nice reminder that yes the holiday season is at last upon us.

Have a good afternoon everyone,
