In Annapolis there are those that run, walk, cycle, or kayak to begin or end their day, heck even during lunchtime to shed a bit of stress from the workday. Fortunately our City is a great place to enjoy those, along with other, outdoor activities and perhaps more so when they take place on the waterfront or along the stretches of nearby shorelines. Personally I’m a walker, who by the way doesn’t posses a pedometer while noting the distance of my daily excursions by the number of city blocks covered, yet that being said I have always been fascinated by the practice of Yoga.

In any event I came across this individual while she was in the midst of extending herself into various positions for minutes on end from a Spa Creek floating dock at midmorning. As to her companion well they also exhibited a sense of calm that in light of the moment seemed perfectly natural.

Experiencing a sense of calmness creek side appears to be a most relaxing way to begin one’s day,

Glenn
