Calm Waters and Cloudy Skies on a Labor Day Weekend

While the impact of Tropical Storm Hermine to Annapolis is still not certain it appears that most people are heeding the advice of both government officials and weather forecasters by staying close to home over this Labor Day weekend. The US Naval Academy football game versus Fordham started on time at 12 noon so all in all things have been relatively normal around the City today.

In any event while weekends in Annapolis can be a bit crowded during the non winter months, more so on a football Saturday, I find it best to get out early for a morning walk and bit of photography.

Today’s photograph features a section of the seawall along the Naval Academy waterfront taken fairly early in the morning. The only real activity that I could see at the time were the two individuals out for a walk that are seen in the far left side of the photograph above.

Certainly the calm and quiet of the morning is a good experience with which to begin one’s day for sure.

Keep an eye on the weather forecast and have a safe Labor Day weekend,

Glenn
