Daffodils a Bunny and a Wreath on the Door

Signs of Easter where evident as a I walked the streets of Annapolis on this picturesque day. Above daffodil flowers denoted a touch of spring to the front of a 1905 Georgian Revival style house in Murray Hill.

Here along a narrow street in the Historic District a resident set about Easter themed decorations in an English window basket that included a bunny and a double ring of colorful eggs. This Federal style brick rowhouse is one of three co-joined buildings constructed by a Mr. Jeremiah Hughes in 1800.

Easter Wreath Adorns a Mix Victorian Style House in Annapolis Maryland April 16th 2017

This Easter themed wreath hangs on the door of a 19th century free standing townhouse featuring both Italianate and Federal architectural details.

All in all it was a most pleasant Sunday afternoon to enjoy both the holiday accents and historical architecture of Maryland’s Capital City on the Chesapeake Bay.
