While the pink blossoms on this front yard tree caused me to stop and take notice early this morning, I actually found myself more so taking note on how the John Brice II House has stood here in the City Historic District since 1727. Wow that would make it 290 years old now in 2017.

Rivaled by perhaps only the Sands House and Brooksby-Shaw House in Annapolis architectural longevity this early 18th century brick Georgian style house has been a familiar sight for those passing by for many years.

So even on this overcast spring morning one can not help but be enthralled over the presence of Judge Brice II’s House now after almost three centuries.

Have a good weekend,

Glenn
