Early Morning After an Overnight Rain

Things seemed so clear and fresh after the earlier drenching rains, at least I found it so this morning during my walk about the grounds of the Maryland State House in Annapolis. The sheen on the bricks set immediately before me took on a illuminated glow from a nearby lamppost while the grass on either side of the walkway was quite lush and featured a deep green hue as well.

There really is something to be said for taking an early morning walk after the rain for it brings with it a noticeable sense of clarity.

Have a great weekend,

Glenn
