Comforted by the fact that today’s dreary looking weather is but short lived, as sunshine will be the order of the day for the balance of the week, I set off on my morning walk in Annapolis hoping to capture the visual ambiance of the day so too speak.

Actually it wasn’t long before I came across this circa 1908 red hued clapboard sided house, located at the top of the hill just up from Spa Creek, with a left side wrap around porch that is lets just say a bit out of the norm. The full side of the porch faces in a northeast direction surely making it a good place to seek relief from the afternoon sun during the late spring and summer months. As to the house’s almost barn red colored siding it appears to bring out a farmhouse style influence to those of us passing by it along this most historical of City streets.

Have a good week,

Glenn
