One of the two reasons for this c1870 Edwardian-Victorian style townhouse being featured as this mornings photograph of the day is an absence of parked vehicles in front of it along the curb. Quite an unusual setting for sure and one that I was most inclined to take advantage of during my walk this morning for sure.

The second reason for choosing it is that this particular 19th century residential style is seldom scene in Annapolis with perhaps its two adjoining neighbors being the only examples of this Victorian style found in the City today.

As an aside I believe that this townhouse, along with its two neighboring ones, originally featured marble steps where as today bricks and limestone slabs have replaced the original ones. Also this townhouse currently serves as an apartment house.

Enjoy the day,

Glenn
