While the pink blossoms on this front yard tree caused me to stop and take notice early this morning, I actually found myself more so taking note on how the John Brice II House has stood here in the City Historic District since 1727.

Walking back from a meeting at the Naval Academy late this afternoon I decided to return to the office via the backyard of the historical Brice House which is when the differences between the stone and brick walls on its northwest side caught my attention.
